Yazaki India Welcomes Japanese Ambassador to Pune Plant

India’s evolving automotive landscape takes center stage during his visit
In a landmark move, Yazaki India Private Limited (YIPL), a leading wire harness Japanese company welcomed Japanese Ambassador to India Keiichi Ono at its Wagholi plant in Pune, Maharashtra. He reviewed operations at the BUHIN unit and the wire harness plant and was warmly received by Takumi Iwata- Chairman of Yazaki India, Prashanth Nayak – MD, P V Raju – CEO, as well as others from the plant.
Yazaki India, a subsidiary of Japan’s Yazaki Corporation, is a leading player in the country’s automotive component industry. Headquartered in Pune, the company operates multiple manufacturing plants and technical centres across India, employing thousands of skilled professionals. It is mainly dealing in automotive wiring harness and its components and recently forayed into Electrical Vehicle high voltage Wiring Harness and battery-related components and HMI (Human Machine Interface product) such as Meter and Heads up display, especially USB charger and Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD). It also caters to a wide variety of OEMs in India.
