Training Programs
We conduct regular safety training programs for all our employees, including new hires and contract workers. These programs include workplace safety protocols, equipment handling, emergency response procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and recognizing and reporting potential hazards.
The programs are periodically updated with new operational procedures and best practices.
Safety Displays and Visual Aids
We display prominent safety visual signages at all our facilities as well as digital displays and posters reinforcing behavior-based safety and risk mitigation. We play videos at regular intervals that demonstrate safety procedures.
Cross-Functional Safety Team (CFT)
Our dedicated CFT comprising members from across departments conducts periodic safety audits and inspections, identifies hazards and recommends corrective actions, and co-ordinates the smooth implementation of safety procedures.
Firefighting Team & Emergency Preparedness
Our in-house firefighting team is equipped to handle fire-related emergencies. They conduct periodic mock fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises, maintain firefighting equipment, provide training for their usage, and co-ordinate with local fire departments for additional support.
Compliance with OSHA and National Standards
We strictly adhere to all safety protocols outlined by OSHA, Indian standards, and relevant ISO standards, regularly reviewing new protocols ensuring that our systems are aligned with the latest legal and industry standards.

Yazaki India's Fire Safety DOJO Redefines Workplace Preparedness
At Yazaki, safety isn’t something we talk about; it’s something we build to make the workplace safer. With a deep emphasis on fire hazard preparedness through the Global Safety and Fire Prevention Policy, we have implemented an innovative Fire Safety DOJO, an immersive training initiative designed to strengthen fire risk awareness and preparedness among employees.
The Fire Safety DOJO is anchored around 13 identical causes of fire incidents recognized through industry experience and rigorous risk assessments. Through practical demonstrations and simulated fire scenarios, employees gain a first-hand understanding of how fires can originate, escalate, and be effectively contained. Each simulation guides employees through the root causes, associated risks, preventive measures, and mitigation techniques, empowering employees to identify unsafe conditions and respond proactively before an incident occurs.
This endeavour is recognized as an industry-first, full-scale Fire Safety DOJO initiative that aligns visual learning, hands-on demonstrations, and practical safety education. By translating theoretical knowledge into real-life experiences, Yazaki India is reinforcing its safety culture and enabling employees to actively contribute towards a zero-fire incident workplace.
