Reviving Water, Restoring Life
In India, large sections of the population do not have access to clean drinking water, primarily due to lack of proper methods for water conservation, seriously hampering their health, livelihood, and overall quality of life.

Recognizing the importance of responding to this kikikan (impending crisis) with urgency, YIPL has selected ‘WATER’ as the central theme of its corporate social responsibility initiatives and has undertaken the mission to identify locations where carefully planned projects to make clean drinking water accessible to the local communities can be implemented.

Delivering Change Through Water
Conservation
As of 2025, we have successfully executed 16 projects at critical locations and facilities in close proximity to our manufacturing plants involving setting up water cooler cum RO purification units, building borewells and water tanks, and carrying out rainwater harvesting in canals and ponds through activities like groundwater recharge, desilting, and rejuvenation
Our efforts have paid off handsomely, benefitting more than 100,000 people living in these areas.
